Family First

From joining in pick-up games on the sports court, biking around the scenic paths, dining in several kid-friendly restaurants, making a frozen yogurt sundae at The Marketplace, and participating in an events calendar designed for every age and interest, the young set at BIGHORN finds the Club is an easy place to be active and makes for one exciting place to grow up.

Budding athletes quickly discover that BIGHORN is an ideal setting in which to hone their golf and tennis skills, filled with plenty of kids their age and/or skill level to play with. Easygoing and friendly, BIGHORN is a place where juniors effortlessly make new friends who are as multifaceted as they are. Before long, they’re meeting up for a swim at the Clubhouse Pool or on the court for a serious basketball game, heading to the BIGHORN Dog Park with their pups, or grabbing their clubs to practice together on the driving range. Little ones have their own special place where they feel on top of the world at BIGHORN. The multi-level Kiddin’ Around Play Park is surrounded by soft, water-efficient Astroturf. Kids love the junior putting green, too. A picnic table makes it a convenient stop for an al fresco breakfast, lunch, or afternoon snack, especially with its location adjacent to The Marketplace and the Dog Park.

Even teens and tweens love sticking close to home at BIGHORN. The Junior Golf Program is just one draw for them. Through clinics, holiday activities, special tournaments, and competitions, they begin to master the fundamentals of the game in addition to patience, etiquette, and the importance of good sportsmanship. Bill Madonna is a US Kids “Top 50 Kids Teacher in America” and has a natural gift for teaching young golfers, from newly swinging tykes to the most advanced junior golfers who are well on their way to playing collegiate golf.
